Simple on purpose

From registration to useful answer.

No account, email address or payment needed. Start with the available records, then use the findings to guide your next questions.

1

Enter the registration

Search using a registration or choose a 17-character VIN. Compare the returned vehicle details with the car and its documents.

2

We request the records

DVLA supplies available vehicle and licensing details; DVSA supplies available MOT history. We flag backwards mileage readings and group recurring MOT wording.

3

Review and prepare

Read the findings, source times and any gaps. Open older MOT records in three-year batches, then use the Lemoned Checklist to record your questions and concerns before viewing and buying.

Keep your next steps together

The tools at the bottom of a real report let you save a dated browser copy, compare saved cars, export a branded HTML/PDF copy or share a live link. Checklist notes stay separately in this browser and are not shared or exported.

To search for another car, use the registration box at the top of the report and press the arrow or Enter.

Keep the limits in view

The free check needs no card and starts no subscription.

Missing or unavailable data is not a clear result.

No write-off, finance, stolen-vehicle or keeper check is performed.

A record match or completed checklist does not prove the physical car’s identity or condition.
